Choose from family-run restaurants, café’s, bakeries, formal dining rooms at several hotels, coffee houses, bistro’s, pancake houses, or our local brewery.
There are just as many choices when it comes to West Yellowstone food from down-home baked pies and rolls, fresh sandwiches and salads, family favorites, and full course meals sure to satisfy anyone’s hunger after a day in the mountains. Western cuisine also reigns supreme with steaks, chops, and barbecue on many menus. Don’t miss our regional specialties such as trout, elk, and bison (burgers or steaks).
All in-town West Yellowstone eateries are within easy walking distance of lodging and attractions. Many restaurants are in buildings that echo the rustic history of West Yellowstone where the ambiance of the west is experienced through Yellowstone memorabilia and local artifacts.
After dinner, stroll along the shops and stores, while treating yourself
to some hand-made fudge or taffy, hand-scooped ice cream, a freshly
baked treat, or a hot coffee or hot chocolate. For later in the evening,
there is also a comfortable mix of lounges and bars for relaxing with
