Planning to get married in Yellowstone National Park, Montana or Wyoming?
Here’s a Summary of Marriage License Requirements..
Montana
A license must be obtained from the clerk of the district court in the county of residence (if the parties are from Montana) or from the county courthouse in Livingston (if the parties are from out of state). Minimum age is 18 years for both parties. A birth certificate is required for proof of age. Blood tests are required with the signature of a M.D. There is no waiting period once the license is obtained. If either of the parties is divorced, a certified copy of the divorce decree is necessary.

Wyoming
A license may be obtained from the county clerk’s office in any courthouse, with Cody and Jackson Hole being the nearest to Yellowstone National Park. Minimum age is 18 years for both parties. A driver’s license or birth certificate is required for proof of age. If either of the parties has divorced in the last six months, a certified copy of the divorce decree is necessary. If the divorce occurred more than six months ago, only the date and place of the divorce must be noted. There is no waiting period once the license is obtained. No blood tests are required.

Yellowstone National Park
A non-denominational chapel at Mammoth Hot Springs is available for wedding ceremonies. A fee is required to reserve the chapel, and reservations must be made through the Superintendent’s Office at (307) 344-2003.
If you would like to have your wedding in one of the hotels in Yellowstone National Park, you will also need to contact the hotel concessionaire, Yellowstone National Park Lodges Conference Services Office at (307) 344-2107
If you wish to conduct your wedding anywhere else in Yellowstone National Park, a Special Use Permit is required. This permit can be applied for by filling out the Application for Special Use Permit and paying a non-refundable fee and sending it to:
