Winter Trail Conditions
West Yellowstone has every reason to consider itself the "Best of the Best". With an average of 143" of snow every year, West Yellowstone and surrounding Yellowstone Country consistently offers some of the best trail and off-trail winter access in the Continental U.S.
The Rendezvous Ski Trail system starts right in West Yellowstone and offers a groomed 35KM trail usually available from November through April.
Explore over 400 hundred miles of groomed snowmobile trails by West Yellowstone and the State of Idaho in the surrounding National Forests. Yellowstone also has nearly 200 miles of groomed trails within Yellowstone National Park providing opportunities to see our First National Park in its best season.
